Ivano Bordon ( born April 13, 1951 in Venice, Italy ) is a retired Italian footballer.

Career

The 1.83 m wide Goalkeeper Ivano Bordon played from 1970 to 1983 with Inter Milan and has been with Inter twice in that time Italian champion. In 1983 he moved to Sampdoria and let 1986-1989 end his career at Serie B club Brescia Calcio. At Inter Milan, he still holds the record with 686 minutes played without conceding a goal.

In the Italian national team, he stood in the shadow of Dino Zoff, but took over as number two goalkeeper participates in the Football World Cup 1978 and the FIFA World Cup 1982. He was to have played without a single minute, the squad of World Cup Champions 1982. Overall, it brought Bordon still on 21 international matches.

The current Italy coach Marcello Lippi took him as a goalkeeper coach in his coaching team for the Football World Cup 2006 in Germany.
