Ivo Visković

Ivo Visković ( born July 28, 1949 in Makarska, Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian political scientist and diplomat.

He studied political science at the University of Belgrade and received his doctorate in 1984 with a thesis on the foreign policy of Yugoslavia. There he teaches now as an associate professor of Foreign Policy and International Studies. From 2006 to 2009 he also taught at the Universities of Banja Luka and Podgorica. Since 2005 he is head of the seminar " International Relations and Foreign Policy " at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Belgrade.

He was from 2001 to 2004 Ambassador of Serbia and Montenegro, Slovenia. Since June 2009 he is the ambassador of Serbia in Germany.
