Ivy Bean

Ivy Bean ( born September 8, 1905 in Bradford, † 28 July 2010) was a British senior citizen that there excited as temporarily oldest active participant in the social networks Facebook and Twitter each sensation.

Origin

Ivy Asquith was born in Bradford in a family with eight children. She left school at age 14 and worked at a nearby factory. She married Harold Bean, a time soldiers, and was later hired him as a service force of Lord and Lady Guinness in Greens Norton Hall in Northampton. The couple had a daughter. After the death of her husband of 75 years she provided up to the age of 92 years and even then moved into a retirement home. A week before her hundred second birthday she moved to another home.

In 2007, she was for the first time online. 2008, at the age of 102 years, it was one of the oldest Facebook participants and won a significant number of followers, similar to Twitter. She quickly became known, met, among others, the singer Peter Andre, and visited in 2010 Prime Minister Gordon Brown and his wife in their residence at 10 Downing Street to the time of death they had 4,962 "friends" on Facebook and over 56,000 followers on Twitter.

Bean died on 28 July 2010 at the age of 104 years. Was mourned bean that left her daughter and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Stephen Fry and Graham Linehan.
