Iwar Swensson

Ivar Samuel Svensson ( born November 7, 1893 in Norrköping, † June 18, 1934 ) was a Swedish football player.

Career

Svensson played for IFK Norrköping and AIK Solna. In 1914 he succeeded to the AIK winning the Swedish championship, as in the final game of Helsingborgs IF could be defeated with 7:2. Svensson was able to enter twice on the scoresheet here. Two years later he was again champion with a 3-1 win against Djurgårdens IF.

Svensson entered into 21 international matches at the Swedish national team. He participated in the Olympic Games in 1912 and was honored as Stor Grabb.
