Izabella Miko
Izabella Miko ( born January 21, 1981 in Łódź, Poland; civil Izabela Anna Mikołajczak ) is an American- Polish actress.
Life and achievements
Miko made her debut as a child in the Polish children's film Pan dab w kosmosie (1989). It was recorded at a prestigious ballet school in Warsaw at the age of ten years. At 15, she moved to New York City, where she was accepted at the School of American Ballet. After a knee injury, she returned to Poland for some time, but later moved back to the USA. It was taught at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.
The first U.S. production, occurred in the Miko, was the comedy Coyote Ugly (2000), in which she starred opposite of Piper Perabo. She took in the horror film The Forsaken - The night is greedy (2001) the role of Megan, who fights together with Sean (Kerr Smith) and Nick ( Brendan Fehr ) against vampires. In the thriller Minimal Knowledge (2002), she took a starring role. The main role she also played in the musical film Save the Last Dance 2 (2006). She also starred in the video for Mr. Brightside the band The Killers, the female lead.
