J. Williams (singer)
J. Williams ( born September 3, 1986 in Auckland as Joshua Elia Williams ) is a R & B singer from Mangere, New Zealand.
Life
Joshua went to Auckland to school. His two sisters went on Australian Idol - the Australian version of American Idol - with. Joshua is a member of a hip -hop dance group, which recorded low success under the name Prestige. In 2008 he brought his first single as J. Williams Blow Your Mind on the market, which reached # 13 of the New Zealand charts. In early 2009 he released his debut album Young Love. This landed at # 5 on the NZ charts. Other singles from the album were released ( and Others Stand with You with his sister Lavina Williams together) until he finally 2010 with You Got Me reached the 1st place in New Zealand. In the same year he won the Pacific Music Awards in the category Best Pacific Male Artist. On 31 May 2010 the single Takes Me Higher which reached number two in New Zealand and made it for 3 weeks in Germany in the charts, where it reached number 75 as highest position appeared. Then Williams took several songs on the New Zealand rapper also K.One and could be placed with all three, released as a single song in the New Zealand charts.
