Jab We Met ( Hindi: जब वी मेट, Urdu: جب وی میٹ, translated: When we met ) is a successful Bollywood film of 2007.
Action
Aditya Kashyap is a young rich industrialist, who is in a crisis. The woman he loves marries another and with the inherited his father's company is going downhill. Desperate and in depressed mood he leaves the company building and running around aimlessly until he finds himself at the station. He gets into some train and drives away.
In this train, he meets the beautiful and talkative Geet Dhillon, who is from Bombay to Bathinda ( Punjab ), her hometown on the go. Continuously tells Geet about her life and her plan elope with her lover Anshuman, as this would not be accepted as a suitable son- from her family. She goes Aditya so on the nerves that both miss the train at an intermediate stop.
Aditya has been with Geet and travels with her so she certainly comes Bhatinda to their parents. During her turbulent journey to a genuine friendship between the two and Aditya gradually gains by the exuberant and fun-loving kind of Geet his joy in life again developed.
In Bathinda arrived, Geet will be immediately married to a man to whom she was promised from a young age. To escape the escapes Geet with Aditya in a cloak-and -dagger operation from Bathinda. Aditya brings Geet to Manali to their Anshuman and he returned to Bombay.
In Bombay, a completely modified, fun-loving and dedicated Aditya brings his ailing company back on track and lead them to great success. Only nine months after his return, he learns of Geets family that they have not heard of Geet since their escape and believe that she was in Aditya.
Aditya is confused, because he thought Geet would long ago have returned with Anshuman to their parents. So Aditya traveling to Manali to get to the bottom of it. There he meets Anshuman and learns from him that he has rejected Geet and never planned with her she had to get married. This Geet had set itself in the head without that she had previously discussed with Anshuman.
By Anshuman Aditya learns that Geet would often call in recent months from Shimla and then Aditya goes there. He finds Geet in a hostel in Shimla, where she works as a teacher. Geet is completely changed, very introverted and has completely lost her exuberant lust for life. Aditya convinced her to come with him.
Before the two are on their way back, Aditya wants that Geet finally draws a line under their love to Anshuman. He leads them to call Anshuman and due to tell him the opinion. Then it's Geet better. But with Anshuman causes this phone call that his love for Geet wakes up and he immediately comes to Shimla. Reluctantly and after Adityas coaxing to Geet leaves again on Anshuman and so they go to third after Bathinda to Geet 's family.
But when they arrive in Bathinda, the wedding preparations are there already met at the ceremony for a marriage between Aditya and Geet catch up, as all continue to believe that the assumption that the two are a couple and have lived together for nine months. Geet would like to clarify the misunderstanding, but when she has the chance, they will not get the truth from her lips. Ultimately, Geet recalls the joint nice time with Aditya and only then she realizes that she does not love Anshuman but Aditya. She confesses her love to marry him and the two.

This film is the farewell film of the two leading actors Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor as lovers who had been dating for three years and at the end of October, when the film was released in theaters parted.
The title of the film was determined by audience vote. Next Title alternatives were Punjab Mail and Ishq Via Bhatinda.
