Jack B. Sowards

Jack B. Sowards ( born March 18, 1929 in Texarkana, Arkansas; † July 8, 2007 in Valley Village, California ) was an American screenwriter, film producer and film actor.

Life

Sowards began his career first as an actor, but after two small supporting roles in two war movies, in the late 50s, but he decided to become a screenwriter. Especially in television series Sowards wrote. To include Bonanza, Barnaby Jones, The Streets of San Francisco, and Star Trek: The Next Generation to Sowards work. With the support of author Harve Bennett, he also wrote the screenplay for the science fiction film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. In addition to its function as a screenwriter, he also worked as a producer on the short-lived series Hagen.

Sowards was a father of four and two-time grandfather.
