Harve Bennett

Harve Bennett ( born August 17, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American film producer and screenwriter.

Life and work

Prior to his career in the film business, he studied at the University of California.

His debut as a producer and screenwriter, he was in 1968 with the television series The Mod Squad. Until the 1980s, he was responsible exclusively for television. He was about executive producer for several episodes of the television series The Six Million Dollar Man. For the 1982 turned miniseries A Woman Called Golda Bennett won an Emmy.

With his involvement in the script and the production of science-fiction film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan 1982 he gave his film debut. In these roles, he was up to and including Star Trek V: The Final Frontier instrumental in the theater productions of the popular Star Trek franchise.

Then he turned back to the television. In 1992 he wrote the screenplay for the disaster movie disaster flight 232 and he developed the television series Time Trax - Back to the Future, for which he also wrote several screenplays.
