Jack C. Taylor

Jack C. Taylor ( b. 1923 ) is an American multi-billionaire who made his money with a car rental. In the Forbes list of the richest people in the world, he is ranked 94th in 2013, the fortune of his family is estimated at about 11 billion dollars.

Life

After leaving the Washington University, he was in World War II fighter pilot on the USS Enterprise. After the war, he sold cars and was Cadillac representative. He saved an average of 50 % of his income to open up to a private car leasing business. When he had saved enough money, he founded his Car Rental Enterprise Rent -A-Car. He rented cars to customers were stolen or ruined their cars. In the 1970s, the business was booming. His son Andrew C. Taylor began with his father to work " as soon as he could travel".
