Jack Hanlon

Jack Hanlon (* February 15, 1916 in Fort Worth, Texas, † December 13, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada) was an American child actor.

Life

Hanlon grew up with his grandmother in Culver City. His first film appearance was the freckled boy at the age of 10 years in Buster Keaton's The General. In 1927, he starred in two films, the film series " The Little Rascals ": The Glorious Fourth and Olympic Games. Then he received a supporting role in William Wyler's Between the ropes (1929 ), which stood at the junction of the silent film to talkies and already had some speech sequences. 1930 Hanlon received a screen kiss of Greta Garbo in the movie romance.

His work in film ended after eight other sound films in 1933. Later Hanlon worked as a furniture mover.
