Jackie Pigeaud

Jackie Pigeaud ( born May 18, 1937) is a retired French classical scholar ( Latinist ) and medical historian. He was a professor at the University of Nantes and is a member of the Institut universitaire de France.

His area of ​​research is the relationship of body and soul in the tradition of medical thought and melancholy.
