Jacob Krebs

Jacob Krebs ( born March 13, 1782 Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, † September 26, 1847 ) was an American politician. In the years 1826 and 1827 he represented the State of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Jacob Krebs attended the common schools and worked afterwards in agriculture. Politically, he was a member of the Democratic- Republican Party. In the 1820s he joined the movement to the future President Andrew Jackson.

After the death of Mr Henry Wilson was cancer in the due -election as his successor in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he took up his new mandate on December 4, 1826. Until March 3, 1827 he was able to end the current parliamentary term in Congress. After his time in the U.S. House of Representatives cancer again worked in agriculture. He died on 26 September 1847 in his birthplace of Orwigsburg.
