Jacques Gamblin

Jacques Gamblin ( born November 16, 1957 in Granville, Manche, France) is a French actor.

Biography

Jacques Gamblin worked as a technician at a theater company and was only drawn at random to fill a staging into consideration. He discovered his own talent and decided to study at the Comédie de Caen spectacle. He then played in England and France before he made his debut broadcast on the side of Robert Murzeau and Alain Moussay in 1984 and directed by René Lucot TV movie La double inconstance on the canvas.

He received greater attention for his portrayal of gay businessman Alexandre Agut in the staged by Gabriel Aghion comedy Men like it hot!. He was nominated among other things, at the presentation of the French César Film Awards in 1997 for Best Supporting Actor. More nominations followed in 2009 and 2011 as Best Actor for his performances in C'est la vie - So are we, so is the life and the name of the people.
