Jafar us Sadiq Mufaddal Saifuddin

Dascha ʿ far al-Sadiq ibn Amīr Sayf al - Dīn Mufaddal (Arabic جعفر الصادق مفضل سيف الدين, DMG Ǧa ʿ far al-Sadiq ibn Amīr Sayf al - Dīn Mufaddal; further notation Ja'far Sadiq us 'm Mufaddal Amir Saifuddin ) [Note 1] is a Muslim scholar from the family of the highest religious dignitaries of the Ismaili Dawoodi Bohra tayyibitisch - ( Dawoodi Bohras ), the title of a D ʿ ī Mutlaq ( " absolute ʿ ī dA " ) hold. He is the grandson of ʿ ī 52 dA Mutlaq Mohammed Burhanuddin ( 1915-2014 ) and the eldest son of ʿ ī 53 dA Mutlaq Mufaddal Saifuddin (b. 1946).

He is a writer and researcher in the fields of Islam, the Ismailis, the Fatimids and Dawoodi Bohras and also a religious poet.

He studied Arabic literature at Cairo University and graduated from the al Dschamea Saifiyah status - the highest educational institution of Dawoodi Bohras - in Surat, India with the title of al Faqih al dschayyid ( Masters in Islamic Jurisprudence ) from. He currently makes a Master's degree in Arabic literature at the Institute of Arab Research and Studies of the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science ( ALECSO, Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization) in Cairo.

He teaches at the al Dschamea tus Saifiyah in India Surat is one of the Senior Fellows of the Royal Aal al - Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought ( Royal Aal Al- Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought ).

During the restoration of five mosques of the Fatimids in Cairo by Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin he published several works on the architectural features of each of these mosques (al- Anwar, al - Aqmar, al - Dschuyuschi, al -Azhar, al - Lulua ), two of which were translated into English (see photos below).

For his work penned in Arabic أدب المناظرة والحجاج في المجالس المؤيدية / abad al - munāẓara wa-l - ḥaǧǧāǧ fī al -mu ʾ - maǧālis ayyadiyya, in which he the style of argumentation of Mu'ayyad fi d -Din al- Shirazi in examines the eight volumes of his Madschālis al - Mu'ayyadīya / المجالس المؤيدية, he received in 2013 a Ph.D. in literature and philosophy from the University of Cairo.
