Jagielno, Lower Silesian Voivodeship

Jagielno ( German German - Jägel ) is a village in the municipality Przeworno, powiat Strzeliński, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland.

History

The village was probably originally personal property of the Jagiellonian. During the German Silesia time it was in German - Jägel next to the village church, a manor of the same name. This was during the Seven Years' War, the commander of Neisse, Lieutenant General Christian Joachim von Tresckow, who could not hold it. After German - Jägel changed very often its owner and was among others in the possession of the Barons of Reibnitz that of Hofereller of Paczensky of Pogrell of Borsnitz, of Rome's hills, the Counts Schaffgotsch, the barons of Dalwig and from 1910 the Counts Ballestrem; the last resident Countess Ballestrem led since her marriage the name Baroness Spies of Büllesheim.

In 1910, the village had in the district of chasing ( district Breslau, Lower Silesia) 130 Gutsbezirk 214 inhabitants, in 1939 there were a total of 268 inhabitants. Situated on a terraced hill castle was surrounded by water and parks.
