Jakab Fellner

Jakob Fellner, Hungarian Fellner Jakab, knighted by fur Thal ( * July 25, 1722 in Mikulov ( Mikulov ), Moravia, † December 12, 1780 in Tata ( Totis ), Hungary ) was a German -driven abusive builder of the late Baroque. In the service of the Esterházy, he led the design and construction of numerous castles and churches in the Kingdom of Hungary.

Life

Jakob Fellner was built in 1744 in Tata polishing and four years later builders. On behalf of the magnate family Esterházy, he led the development of Baroque castle and town of Tata, after the destruction of the Turkish wars and the Rákóczi uprising. Soon he received further significant orders. 1764 brought him Bishop Karl Esterházy to Cheb ( Eger ). In 1773 he was knighted.
