Jake and Amir

Jake And Amir is an English-language web series from the U.S. site Collegehumor.com acting by the two colleagues Jake Hurwitz and Amir Blumenfeld and since May 23, 2007 regularly ( currently every Tuesday ) published on the College Humor website and on Youtube and Vimeo will. The series takes place largely in the main office of the Interactive Corp. in New York City and now has more than 600 episodes with a duration of 1-5 minutes.

Since January 2014, the episodes will be synchronized partly Spanish.

Content

Even if the individual acts and scenes of action in the episodes vary greatly, there is a consistent character concept of the two actors, after Jake Hurwitz as "normal", productive, and is also shown (especially in fashionable questions ) partly uncertain, whereas his colleague Amir embodies the annoying, unproductive character who is possessed of similar friendship with Jake as of Chicken nuggets of the fast-food chain McDonald's. He also has a generally unhealthy lifestyle, is uneducated and aggressive towards other colleagues; among other reasons he is hated by them.

Fired

On 11 October 2011, the half-hour special episode " Jake And Amir: Fired " was released. Plays a major role alongside Amir Blumenfeld and Jake Hurwitz, Matt Walton as Alan Avery, a fictional College Humor CEO. The episode is about an offer Avery Jake Hurwitz, Amir Blumenfeld unproductive colleagues in exchange for a promotion and a raise to dismiss. Since Jake uses the opportunity to get rid of his annoying colleagues, he feels as the story increasingly responsible for their unemployment and trying to give him recover his old job.

TV Series

On December 18, 2013 it was announced that from the webshow a television series to be built. This is to be produced among others by Jake Hurwitz, Amir Blumenfeld and Ed Helms. Broadcast is the series on U.S. television channel TBS.
