Jake Brown (skateboarder)

Jake Brown (born 6 September 1974) is an Australian professional skateboarder.

Life

After his parents divorced, Brown grew up with his mother. With the skating he began in his early teens, after he had previously played football. In 1996 he joined the first time to find a professional contest, the Slam City Jam, and in 1997 he moved to California, where he has lived ever since. Brown is married. He took part in the X-Games for Australia. The events in the Skateboard Big Air Competition in Los Angeles, he finished in the years 2006 and 2007 as the second, in 2008 he finished third and in 2009 he won the gold medal.

Mega -Ramp - fall

On 2 August 2007 Brown fell under the Summer X Games from spectacular. After being in a contest successfully a 720 could land on a mega ramp first, he lost during the subsequent jump control. His board flew away and Brown fell from about 15 meters (45 feet) to the bottom of the quarterpipe. He lay for a few minutes on the ground, but could then go on their own.
