Jakub Zabłocki

Jakub Zabłocki (born 14 July 1984 Chelmno, Poland) is a Polish footballer who is currently active in Siarka Tarnobrzeg.

Career

Zabłocki began his professional career at small clubs like home Gwiazda Starogród and Pomowiec Kijewo, before joining Chemists Bydgoszcz 2000. There he stayed only a year and moved to the 2001/02 season to local rivals Polonia Bydgoszcz. There, too, they took him only a year since he joined the 2002/2003 season to Sparta Brodnica before he went from there the path toward professional football and joined Korona Kielce. Since he did not make it past the role of the complement player, he moved to Pogon Staszów. After a year he was hired again at his former club Korona Kielce and made his first two games in the Ekstraklasa. In the 2007/2008 season Zablocki graduated nine games in the Ekstraklasa, scoring two goals. In the summer of 2008 Marek Motyka brought him to the two-time Polish champion Polonia Bytom, where he worked in the first half of the 2008/09 season in 15 games five goals. After due ausstehendem content did not appear in the winter 2009 training, he was suspended together with Tomasz Owczarek from the squad. In a free transfer to the Ekstraklasa - Up Lechia Gdansk thus secured the services of striker. But after he disappointed there and has since been banned even in the reserve team, he joined in the summer of 2011 to the second division club Wisła Płock.
