Jalil Lespert

Jalil Lespert ( born May 11, 1976 in Paris, France) is a French actor, film director and screenwriter.

Biography

Jalil Lespert is the son of French actor Jean Lespert and an Algerian lawyer. Even while he studied law, he was taken by his father to the casting so that it in the staged by Laurent Cantet Short beach games on the side of his father as an actor and in Cantet drama voluntary exile on the side of Frédéric Pierrot and Catherine Baugué on the big screen debuted. For the presentation of Franck in Cantet's Ressources humaines Lespert Drama Award at the ceremony of the French César Film Awards 2001 for Best Newcomer. After he tried with the two short films, Coffee and Dreams (2000) and De retour (2005) as a director and scriptwriter, he made his debut with the drama 24 mesures as a film director for feature films. With Des vents contraires appeared in 2011, his second feature film.

Lespert is married to the former Miss France from 2000 Sonia Rolland. The couple has a child together.
