Jallab

Dschallab (Arabic جلاب, DMG ǧallāb, also Jallab ) is a traditional drink in the Middle East. Today, it is made ​​from dates, grape molasses and rose water, originally used to carob. It is especially popular in Lebanon, Palestine and Syria, where it is served with floating pine nuts or raisins and ice cubes.
