Jamatami is a four-piece German pop band. It was in early 2011 by the German TV channel Super RTL for the docu-soap Jamatami: The Star Diary selected. However, they are not a typical casting tape, as the four musicians whose initial letters of the first names also form the band name, knew beforehand and are good friends. The band had their first appearances as part of the Toggo Tour 2011. Their first single, Perfect Day was released on 13 May 2011, the associated album Tic Tac Toe on June 17. On 4 July 2011, the album debuted in the German charts. In Austria, the CD was ranked 26 and stayed there for six weeks. In Switzerland, the panel reached position 72, and was here for three weeks in the chart rankings. In the spring of 2014 Martijn Stoffers took Germany seeks the superstar part.
