Jamel McLean

Jamel McLean (born 18 April 1988) is an American professional basketball player. He is currently at the Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany under contract.

By 2011, McLean played in college in the U.S. and went on to Xavier University. After graduating McLean moved to Europe and spent his first season as a professional in Belgium at the Leuven Bears. For the season 2012/2013 McLean subsequently moved to Italy and ran on for second division Givova Scafati, but after a few weeks moved McLean back to Belgium and received the BC Ostende a temporary contract. After his contract expired at the end of 2012 McLean received a new contract in Belgium and moved to Germany in January 2013 to the Telekom Baskets Bonn. There he was given a contract until the end of the season. During the summer break in 2013 McLean signed a new contract with the Telekom Baskets Bonn until the summer of 2014.

In his first home game for the Telekom Baskets Bonn McLean suffered a broken nose and therefore had to suspend a game. After a special mask it was made, he could become active again.
