James Gallagher (soccer)

James " Jimmy" Gallagher ( born June 8, 1905 in Newark, † in New Jersey ) was an American football player.

Club career

Gallagher, not to be confused with the World Cup participants James J. Gallagher, was active at club level for Ryerson Juniors.

National

He was also a member of the national soccer team of the United States and took her part in the Summer Olympic Games in 1928. There he came to a use in the game against Argentina's choice and scored one of two goals of the American team at the 2:11 - defeat. His first of only two international matches he had already graduated in 1924 against Poland.
