James Lee Barrett

James Lee Barrett ( born November 19, 1929 in Charlotte, North Carolina, † October 15, 1989 in Templeton, California ) was an American screenwriter and producer.

Barrett grew up in Charlott. Before becoming a writer, he was with the United States Marine Corps, to which also his first film called The Murder of a Sand Flea relates. At the age of 59 years he died of complications from cancer.
