Jamie Dwyer

Jamie Dwyer ( born March 12, 1979 in Rockhampton, Australia) is an Australian hockey player who was five times world hockey player and his country in 2004 shot for the first Olympic victory.

Career

He was first appointed to the Executive of the Australian national hockey team in 2001. Dwyer is one of the best strikers in the world.

In 2002 he was elected to the U23 World Hockey Player of the Year. In the Champions Trophy 2003, Jamie Dwyer suffered a serious injury, however, was in 2004 as part of a four -nation tournament in Sydney comeback. His biggest success to date was winning the gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics, as in the final, he scored the winning goal against the Netherlands.

After the Olympics, he moved to the Netherlands for HC Bloemendaal Hoofdklasse and in 2004 was honored for the first time a World Hockey Player of the Year ( 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011 again ).
