Jamie O'Hara (singer)

Jamie O'Hara ( born August 8, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio) is an American country music singer and songwriter.

After a sports injury Jamie O'Hara had a career as a football player give up and started to deal with music. First, he had success as a songwriter. In 1986 he received the Grammy " Best Country Song" for his composition Grandpa ( Tell Me About The Good Old Days ). He worked a lot with Kieran Kane and formed with it the duo The O'Kanes. There were three albums produced: 1987, The O'Kanes, 1988 Tired Of Running and 1989 Imagine That.

After the separation of Kane, he played the 1994 album Rise Above It a, the quality and style equaled the O'Kanes productions. O'Hara continued to be successful as a songwriter. George Jones recorded his Cold Hard Truth. In 2002 he released his second album Beautiful Obsession.
