James Roberts ( born November 8, 1986 in Newport, Wales) is a Welsh rugby union player who plays for the Cardiff Blues and for the Welsh national team. He plays on the positions of the inner three-quarters and goalkeeper.

Roberts began his Vereinskarrie the Cardiff RFC and moved in 2005 to the Blues regional team.
