Jan Arnald
Arne Dahl is the pseudonym of Swedish author January Arnald ( born January 11, 1963).
Life
Arnald is a literary scholar and works for the Swedish Academy, which awards the Nobel Prize every year. He has published three books under his own name at Bonnier. He also publishes the magazines Artes and Aiolos and works as a critic at Göteborgs-Posten.
His breakthrough as a writer was with Jan Arnald, 1998 under his pseudonym Arne Dahl with the crime series to the so-called A- Group, a special investigation team to the Swedish police to Paul Hjelm and Kerstin Holm for crimes of international significance. The series has been translated into many languages. According to Dahl's original idea, the series should end consist of ten novels. 2011 started with Viskleken a new thriller series about a secret investigative team of Europol. For this team of investigators also Arto Söderstedt counts from the previous A- group.
Arnald lives in Stockholm and Berlin.

Films
On 4 November 2012, the ZDF began to broadcast a film version of "A- Group " series in the series Sunday thriller.
In the film adaptations of the first five Dahl crime novel under the same Series Title: Arne Dahl is a co-production of film Lance International in co-production with SVT, ZDF, Network Movie, ZDF Enterprises, movie region Stockholm- Mälardalen, Nordisk Film Production in association with YLE TV2 AS.
