Jan Dydak

January Dydak ( born June 14, 1968 in Czeladź, Poland ) is a retired Polish boxer.

Dydak was Polish champion in 1987 in the welterweight ( -67 kg ) and 1990 and 1991 in the light middleweight ( -71 kg ). In 1988 he won after beating Jose Garcia, Venezuela ( 4:1), Humberto Aranda, Costa Rica ( 4-1 ), and Adewale Adgebusi, Nigeria (4:1), and an injury-related where defeat in the semifinal against Robert Wangila, Kenya, the bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Seoul. At the European Championships in 1991 Dydak again won the bronze medal.
