Jan Flinterman

January Flinterman ( born October 2, 1919 in The Hague; † 26 December 1992, Leiden) was a Dutch racing driver.

January Flinterman was next to Dries van der Lof the first Dutchman in Formula 1 Flinterman was at the Grand Prix of the Netherlands in 1952 in Zandvoort for the Escuderia Bandeirantes at the start. Remained lying as his Maserati A6GCM after damage to the rear axle, he took over the car of his teammates Chico Landi and with seven laps behind Alberto Ascari in the Ferrari 500 ninth.
