Jan-Marco Luczak

Jan- Marco Luczak ( born October 2, 1975 in Berlin) is a Berlin lawyer and politician ( CDU). He is a member of the German Bundestag.

Life and career

Jan- Marco Luczak was born in 1975 in Berlin- Tempelhof and grew up there. He attended the Ulrich -von- Hutten - school in the district and graduated from High School in 1995. Subsequently, he did his military service in the Infantry Battalion 581 in Berlin- Kladow from.

Then he began to study law at the Free University of Berlin. After the first State Examination Jan- Marco Luczak worked in an internationally oriented law firm until he was picked up by the graduate students of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

His legal training completed Jan- Marco Luczak at the Court of Berlin and graduated from the Second State Examination. Since then he has worked as a lawyer at Hengeler Mueller in Berlin.

Policy

The focal points of Jan- Marco Luczak lie in the field of Law, Economics and European Policy. So he is in the 18th legislature ordinary member of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Consumer Protection, whose deputy he is chairman and the subcommittee European law, as well as in judicial selection committee, which chooses the Federal Constitutional Court. He reached a distance of 6.1 % ( 10,500 votes) to the second-placed Renate Künast of the Greens. With the obtained mandate he solves Mechthild Rawert (SPD ) than previous constituency MPs, which reached 22.6 % of the vote.

In the general election in 2013 Jan- Marco Luczak has won the constituency in turn directly with 35% ( 60,926 ) of the primary vote. This time by a margin of 8.8% for the second-placed candidate of the SPD Mechthild Rawert and 14.6 % before leading candidate Renate Künast ( Green ).
