Jan- Olaf Immel ( born March 14, 1976 in Wiesbaden ) is a former German handball player. He has a body length of 2.03 m and weighs 104 kg. He has the nickname " Eike " - in reference to the former goalkeeper of the national soccer team Eike Immel. His playing position is left back room.

His international debut he gave on 7 May 1999 against Belgium in Hasselt. He was not part of the squad for the national handball team for the World Cup 2007. Immel was injured after several shoulder operations for over a year and could not deny games. By December 2007, Immel played in the TV Großwallstadt. When his dortiger contract should not be renewed, he moved prematurely in December 2007 to relegation second division club TSG Münster. There Immel signed a two and a half year contract. From the 2008/2009 season, he served as player-manager in Munster .. After the merger of TSG Münster with the League rival SG Wallau Immel acted in same function for the newly formed team HSG Frankfurt Rhein Main. In the summer of 2010 Immel was his move to DHC Rheinland known, for whom he played until summer 2011. Then he ended his active career and was on 3 February 2012, together with Steffen Weber in Wiesbaden his farewell game. Since the summer of 2013 he coached the TSG Eppstein.

The qualified sports teacher is married and has two daughters.
