Ján Zápotoka

Ján Zapotoka ( born March 23, 1988 in Bardejov ) is a Slovak football player. He plays since 2009 when Lech Poznan in the Ekstraklasa, the top Polish league.

Career

Zapotoka began his career in the youth team of BSK Bardejov, from where he moved to MFK Dubnica 2006. 2007/08 the club finished ninth highest Slovak League, 2008/ 09 aft. Then moved to Poland and the Slovak signed with Lech Poznan. In his first season with the northern neighbor for his homeland of the league title was won, further Zapotoka came on 13 missions.

2010/11 he made his debut at European club level. In the playoff qualifier for the Europa League against the representative from Ukraine Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk on August 19, 2010, he appeared as a substitute in the 86th minute for the Congolese Omari Joël Tshibamba. The game was won 1-0 in Dnipropetrovsk.

During the winter break of the 2010/11 season he returned to the MFK Dubnica.
