Jana Cieslarová

Jana Cieslarová ( born June 6, 1971 in Třinec ) is a former Czech orienteer. In 1991 she was short-distance world champion.

Cieslarová that ran in her hometown Třinec in the east of the Czech Republic for the club TJ TŽ Třinec, launched in 1989 in Sweden as reigning vice- European champion in the juniors in their first World Championships. In some, she took 17th place, while in the Czechoslovak Season second place behind the team finished with Sweden's Petra Wagnerova, Ada Kuchařová and Jana Gáliková. For the Home 1991 World Championships in Marianske Lazne Cieslarová won the gold medal at the newly introduced short-distance competition. On long- distance she missed a medal in short supply, with the Czechoslovak team won bronze. The World Cup 1992 season, she finished in second place. 1993 and 1995 it was part of the Czech squadron, who won bronze at two world championships.

A national championship they won over 40 titles. They also started at the Ski World Orienteering Championships in 1994 and finished it in two individual races and was ranked twelfth and sixth place in the relay.
