Jane Barkman

Jane Louise Barkman ( born September 20, 1951 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania) is a former American swimmer and two-time Olympic gold medalist.

In the Summer Olympics 1968 in Mexico City, she was a member of the U.S. swimming team over 100m freestyle and won the gold medal with this. In the individual competition over 200m freestyle she also won bronze. She stepped back after the games from professional sports. Four years later at the Summer Olympics in Munich, but it was a comeback and was able to repeat their Olympic victory with the season over 100m freestyle.

Later, she was swimming coach at Princeton University.
