Jane McGonigal

Jane Evelyn McGonigal ( born October 21, 1977 in Philadelphia ) is an American computer game designer and author.

Jane McGonigal grew up as a child teacher in New Jersey. Her twin sister Kelly is a psychologist and author. Jane studied at Fordham University and received his doctorate in 2006 at the University of California, Berkeley. After that, she worked on computer games as a designer. She is Director of Game Research & Development at the Institute for the Future in Palo Alto.

2005 McGomigal received the Innovation Award of the International Game Developers Association.
