Janet L. Robinson

Janet L. Robinson ( born June 11, 1950 in Fall River, Massachusetts ) is an American manager and CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of The New York Times Company.

Career

After her studies at Salve Regina College, Newport ( Rhode Iceland ), she worked as a teacher before she was working for the NYT Company from 1983. After multiple stops, she was Chief Operating Officer in February 2004 of their business unit as well as one of the Vice Presidents of the entire group. On 27 September 2004, it rose to the top of the Group and has since been its president and CEO.
