Janine Chamot

Janine Chamot ( born February 4, 1983 in Morrens ) is a Swiss football player. The goalkeeper plays for Young Boys Bern and is a former player of the Swiss national team.

Personally

Janine is the daughter of Astrid and Jean -Paul Chamot, a former goalkeeper of FC Köniz. She grew up with her sister Nathalie in Schliern / Köniz and works as a commercial employee. In her spare time she meets like her friends, cooking and inclined to shop around you.

Her career began in 1993 at FC Köniz Chamot. In the summer of 1997 she joined the youth whose 2nd team FFC Bern. Within just two years, she played in the circle of the first team. When FFC Bern, she won two domestic double in 2000 and 2001. Since 2009 FFC Bern is in the BSC Young Boys AG integrates operation and the club has performed since then under the name of YB women. Janine Chamot 2010 was awarded by the women's football magazine as the goalie of the year. End of the season 2010/2011 she was Swiss champion women's football with their team again.

National

Janine Chamot played from 1996 to 1999 in the U-16 regional selection of the Football Federation Bern / Jura. From 1999 to 2002 she played for the Swiss U-19 national football team of women. She made her debut in the qualifier for the U-18 European Championship on July 10, 2000, when Switzerland won against the Faroe Islands 5-0. Overall, they came there about 40 times used. Between 2002 and 2008 she was in the squad of the Swiss national football team of women who played there myself but only four times as a substitute goalkeeper Marisa Brunner behind.
