Janine Flock

Janine Flock ( born July 25, 1989 in Hall in Tyrol ) is an Austrian skeleton pilot.

Life

Flock began in 2004 with the skeleton sport and belongs since 2006 to the national squad. The Rumerin is coached by Roland Hochfilzer and starts for the BSC Stubai.

At the Junior World Championships in 2006, she finished in 22nd place. In November of that year she made her debut in the European Cup skeleton. In Igls she was 16 The following year, she made her international breakthrough with several top - ten finishes in the European Cup. Best result was second place behind Elena Yudina at the second race of the season 2007/2008 in Winterberg. In the overall standings of the competition, she was fifth. From 2007 to 2013, Flock won each of the Austrian Championships. 2006, 2007 and 2008, she was Tyrol Champion. The Skeleton Championship 2014 in Koenigssee Flock was European champion. With the Austrian team, she participated in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi (Russia).
