Jánoshalma

Jánoshalma is a small town with about 10,000 inhabitants in southern Hungary. It is the administrative center of the small area Jánoshalma in Bács -Kiskun.

Geographical Location

Jánoshalma located about 30 km east of the Danube in the Great Hungarian Plain. The place belongs to the Hungarian part of Backa. The border with Serbia is located in the southeast about 20 km. By Jánoshalma lead the road and the railway line from Kiskunhalas to Baja.
