Janric Craig, 3rd Viscount Craigavon

The Rt Hon Janric Fraser Craig, 3rd Viscount Craigavon, ( born June 9, 1944), is a British peer and auditors. With the passing of the House of Lords Act 1999, he lost along with all other Erbpeers ( Hereditary peers) the automatic seat in the House of Lords. However, he was chosen as one of 92 selected Erbpeers that remained after the reform in the House .. He belongs to no group.

The son of James Craig, 2nd Viscount Craigavon ​​was born as the son of an important family in Ulster and at Eton College and the University of London is formed. He graduated from there with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1974 he inherited his father's title. Lord Craigavon ​​is a board member of the Anglo -Austrian Society. In 1998, the Order of the Lion of Finland, he was awarded the Commander class, further, he was awarded the 2005 Swedish Order of the North Star in the class commander and the Dannebrogorden as a knight in 2006.

He was a Trustee of the Progress Educational Trust and is now in its advisory board.
