Jans
Jans ( breton.: Hentieg ) is a commune with 1162 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Loire -Atlantique in the Pays de la Loire.
The residents of the community and the Janséens Janséennes call themselves.
The village, situated in a hilly and wooded area, on the banks of the Don, goes back to a parish founded by the Dukes of Brittany. In the 14th century it was under the rule of those of Laval, in the 16th century by Montmorency, Constable of France.
