Don (Vilaine)
Course outline of the river
The Don is a river in France, which runs in the Pays de la Loire mainly in the department of Loire -Atlantique. It rises in the municipality of Saint -Michel- et- Chanveaux, in the neighboring department of Maine -et -Loire. Its source river changes its name several times and is only referred to below of the small artificial lake Etang de la Selle as Don. It drains generally in a westerly direction and joins after 92 kilometers of the municipal boundary of Massérac and Avessac as a left tributary of the Vilaine. Here he encounters on the opposite bank to the adjacent department of Ille -et -Vilaine in the Brittany region.
