Japan at the 1912 Summer Olympics
Japan took in 1912 in Stockholm for the first time participated in Summer Olympics. Two athletes representing Japan in the Olympic debut: The Sprinter Yahiko Mishima of the Imperial University of Tokyo and the marathon runner Kanaguri Shiso of the Tōkyō Kōtō Shihan Gakko (the predecessor of Tōkyō Daigaku Kyoiku ).
