Japan Racing Association

Japan Racing Association (JRA; jap日本 中央 竞 马 会, Nippon Chūō Keibakai ) is a Japanese, state-owned company with headquarters in Tokyo. The company is under the control and supervision of the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture MAFF. The company is active in horse racing. It owns and operates horse racetracks, betting, horse training centers and stud.

As a state competitor in horse racing is in Japan, the National Association of Racing. Both are available as tokushu - Hojin (特殊 法人, "Special Company") organized a legal form of quasi- public companies such as NHK.
