Jared Tallent

Jared Tallent ( born October 17, 1984 in Ballarat ) is an Australian touring.

At the World Athletics Championships in 2005, he finished 18th in the 20 km walk. About the same distance, he won the bronze medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

In 2008, he presented with 1:19:41 hours on his best time over 20 km scored his biggest success when he won at the Olympic Games in Beijing, only one second slower, the bronze medal over 20 km and the silver medal over 50 km.

Jared Tallent is 1,78 m tall and weighs 60 kg. He studied at the University of Canberra with the goal of becoming physical education teachers. 2008 Tallent married the Australian race walker Claire Woods.
