Jarle Bernhoft

Jarle Bernhoft (born 27 June 1976) is a Norwegian musician and songwriter.

Life

The musical career of Jarle Bernhoft began in the rock and roll combo " chip ". In this combo, he was already world performances. Then he began to be much more successful solo project Bernhoft with his debut album Ceramik City Chronicles that he published on 1 September 2008.

With his second album Solidarity Breaks him his breakthrough. He reached the 1 on the charts in his native Norway. In Germany he published it in July 2011. The ample following tour (including the opening act for Joe Cocker ), he was also with the U.S. talk show Ellen to guest.

His trademarks are his live performances, where he with his loop station Boss RC 50 not to fall themselves to the limit partly multiple looping, it was only one man present with merely an associated voice and one instrument. He himself confirmed in numerous interviews that the emergence of his principle of one-man band, a compromise was to continue to do a tour and then get around the high cost of additional guest musicians. He still plays at a higher salary with 12 guest musicians on the stage. His primary loops include beatboxing, the knock on his acoustic guitar, backing vocals and bass lines.
