Jarzynski equality

The Jarzynski equation is an equation in statistical mechanics, the differences in free energy associated with in non- equilibrium processes in a system work done.

Generally for thermodynamic non-equilibrium processes of equilibrium state A to state B, only the inequality

The Jarzynski equation

However, applies to any process regardless of the speed of litigation, where the energy normalization and the classical ensemble average is.

The equation is plausible, if the thermal fluctuations in the ensemble, is performed on the work considering. Sometimes those bring the system further away from the initial state to the final state. This happens infrequently, but goes by the negative exponent strongly in the ensemble average.
